Julian Le Pavoux
Julian is an infrastructure expert, qualified to design, implement and support solutions from entry level to Enterprise.
Fully conversant with Storage Area Networks (SANs), Blade enclosures and server hardware, he can provide resilient and scalable infrastructure, delivering the stated business requirements and meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs). He is experienced at designing on-premise disaster recovery solutions through storage and virtualisation technology and developing centrally managed and secure infrastructure networks.
Julian’s career has covered 3 decades of technology progress which allows him to view solutions with an impressive perspective and understanding.
With the industries ongoing migration to Cloud based platforms, Julian has stayed at the forefront of development in Microsoft solutions where he can leverage his experience from on-premise environments to their Cloud based alternatives.
While solutions have evolved, Julian has seen the benefits that these new cloud-based solutions can offer Small and Medium businesses. Allowing them to utilise Enterprise tools to work in a more flexible way while remaining safe and secure.
As solutions have adapted, so has Julian, with his knowledge now focused on the key areas of Azure AD, Defender, Intune, SharePoint and Exchange Online and their continued expansion.
Background
Julian has a hardware background as a commercial servicing electronics engineer, and has worked in locations such as Australia, United Kingdom and Switzerland for Aviation, Financial and Governments in deploying complex infrastructures. His career expands over 30 years with at least 20 of those focused on enterprise Storage systems.
During those years he concentrated on storage technologies from HPE and their integration into Virtualisation solutions, and where they can be utilised to achieve the highest SLAs for the business. Employing stretched clusters across long distances to mitigate the possibility of a major environmental event.
Julian is regularly reviewing technical documents to keep abreast of the constant changing capabilities of Microsoft’s service capabilities.
