Andy Bookless
Andy focuses on all areas of systems infrastructure including – Security, Networking, Firewalls, Active Directory, Server infrastructure design, Storage, Backups, HA and Disaster Recovery. He has worked with Windows Server from NT4.0 to Server 2019 and both designed and installed Hyper-V and VMware infrastructures.
Andy has experience with integrating servers, hypervisors and applications with storage platforms, replication and enterprise backups. For over 15 years Andy has had hands on experience working with HP products and obtained Master ASE qualifications in storage and server products.
Andy regularly works with corporate infrastructure mergers involving server consolidation and Active Directory migrations. These migrations are often with the Quest tools and usually involve several forests and physical locations. Working with all aspects of server migration and consolidations has also given Andy experience of migrating the supporting infrastructure which underpins the servers being migrated.
Background
Starting in hardware support, Andy progressed through systems support and onto systems design, mergers and migrations; this exposure has given him a wide area of knowledge in many areas of IT infrastructure, and provided him with a solid IT knowledge platform.
Throughout Andy's 25 years of experience, he has been involved with numerous large-scale corporate merger projects, infrastructure renewals and new implementations.
